Japfa is a Leading, Pan-Asian, Industrial Agri-food Company dedicated to feeding Emerging Asia with essential proteins. They specialize in producing quality dairy, protein staples (poultry, cattle & aquaculture) and packaged food with an integrated industrial approach to livestock and food production across the entire value chain, and possess specific strengths in livestock genetics, feed and farming technologies, biosecurity and animal welfare.
Japfa needed a unified Spatial Brand Look & Feel for Offices in India which would convey a strong credible and memorable Brand image; emphasise the business focus and India-specific positioning; differentiate the office zones and facilitate the culture and activities therein, and motivate the occupants to participate in the brand intent while offering visitors a welcoming and lively atmosphere.
Interics looked at the Japfa Office Environment as an opportunity to inspire positive brand associations and drive desirable user behaviour as well as choices through a memorable Spatial Experience.
We conceptualised the Spatial Theme with a focus on enhancing the India-specific Brand Position and strengthening Japfa’s belief system of being the ‘collective force that Makes Good’ to improve living for millions through their ‘Feed, Farm & Food’ businesses.
We identified communication opportunities at the Japfa head office space with variations in vibrancy based on the floor-wise functions across four floors of the office building.
A future-proof ‘Language’ was created to enable the Japfa Brand communication become extendable beyond space and was delivered through a Spatial system covering Space Graphics, Installations and Signage.
Combining business and culture aspects to craft the spatial expression of the theme- “We Make Good. Always. Together’. The business visual elements were inspired by Japfa’s Business journey of bringing access to nutrition with Quality for Everyone. The culture visual elements were inspired by Japfa’s proactive value system enabling discovery of connections for Collective Action.
Extending Brand assets from the new Visual Equity developed for Japfa India and harmonising the desired brand character with the existing Space and interiors. Interics provided experience creation inputs to add a sense of warmth, connectedness and engagement to Japfa’s Spatial Brand persona.
Developing a Journey for the audience through the space and detailing each touch-point within, based on Story-driven content and Look & Feel attributes to evoke specific user emotions. The zones were divided from Approach (Entrance, Lobby, Reception), Communication (Meeting, Conference and Discussion), Work (Departments) and Transition (Passages, Stairways) to Relaxation (Cafeteria, Recreation) areas, with each zone representing a particular component of Japfa’s business and brand narrative.
Vendor management, material sourcing and evaluation, sampling and stringent Quality checks to optimise outcomes and ensure impeccable execution on-site.
